Some apartment complexes have short-term rentals or corporate rentals that allow you to rent an apartment for a month at a time. You might also find an apartment complex that lets you sign a lease for three or six months if you know you need to stay longer.

Short-term apartments often have the option of coming furnished, but you might also be allowed to use your own furniture if you want. The benefits of living in an apartment complex are that you can use their amenities, and you'll feel more like you're living in a home rather than a hotel. Plus, you might even decide to stay for a longer term if you like where you live.

3. Vacation Housing

Renting a vacation house or condo might be a good option if you can find a rental with availability for as long as you need. A vacation rental might be the most expensive option, but if it fits your budget, you would have the use of a home or condo so you can establish a normal routine.

Vacation homes are furnished and even have everything you need already supplied, such as cookware, a full oven and stove, dishes, bedding, and towels. You usually don't need to bring anything other than your personal items. Vacation homes and condos can be in some of the best locations too, so you could combine your need for temporary housing with an enjoyable getaway.
